Today I want to talk about the importance of having a positive mindset. I hear a lot of excuses and I even make excuses sometimes- life happens and throws curveballs so these things happen but how do you recover from them? What do you tell yourself to combat these excuses you’re making?

Think about it: What is your story? What are the excuses you’re telling yourself? This matters! Are you showing up half ass or with a skeptical mindset? Showing up is 90% of the work but your attitude, your mindset, your ‘why’ is HUGE! If you keep making excuses and are telling yourself you will fail, you probably will! Switch your brain! What are you telling yourself and thinking during your exercise? What is going through your head? REPROGRAM your thinking! Tell yourself ‘I GOT THIS!’ ‘I AM STRONG!’ ‘I AM GOING TO CRUSH THIS’.

I want to challenge you to ask yourself these questions: How are you showing up? How are you showing up to your work outs? How are you showing up in life? Are you making excuses?

OWN YOUR WORKOUT, OWN YOUR EXERCISE, OWN YOUR NUTRITIONAL CHOICES, OWN YOUR HEALTH!

If you find your mind talking trash to yourself- think about if you would say that to the person next to you! Would you tell them their fat, or not good enough or weak? NO! Don’t do that to yourself!

Think positive thoughts and positive things will happen!
