What’s for breakfast? For a sweet tooth fix try this! Chocolate chia pudding with berry puree (perfect breakfast, snack or dessert)

1/2 cup chia seeds
4 cups almond milk (plain)
3- 4 tbsp Cocoa Powder – more if you like!
1 tbsp Maple Syrup* (optional- can use raw honey as well or for low sugar option use vanilla extract)
2-3 cups frozen berries

1. In a bowl mix together Chia seeds and Almond milk and stir with a whisk or fork. Set aside for 10 minutes so it thickens.
2. In a small sauté pan cook frozen berries over medium to low heat so that they reduce and thicken. As they cook mash them with a fork if you like them more puréed or leave whole if you prefer.
3. Pour Chia pudding into small mason jars. I used 250 mL containers. Fill them up 3/4 full and top with berry mixture.
4. Make it pretty! For dessert servings top with a sprig of fresh mint and serve!
